your questions answered

  • We offer reformer Pilates sessions suitable for a range of experience levels. Each class is thoughtfully created to provide a different kind of support, whether you’re building strength, seeking stillness, or starting from the very beginning. You can read a more in-depth overview of our class styles here to see which class is best suited to you.

  • If you’re completely new to reformer Pilates, we recommend beginning with our Start classes. These sessions introduce you to the equipment, teach the fundamentals, and will help you build confidence.

If you’re relatively new but have some experience, our Signature class might be the right next step. It’s an all-levels class that offers a balanced, full-body flow with a stretch at the end suitable for a range of abilities.

After class, feel free to speak to your instructor for advice on which classes will suit you best as you progress.

  • You can book classes through the Soma Didsbury app, available on Apple and Android for quick and easy booking.

Prefer to book online? You can also reserve your spot directly via our online schedule.

All equipment is provided in class, so you don’t need to bring anything else!

  • We allow a maximum 5-minute late arrival for all classes. Anyone arriving after this will unfortunately not be admitted. Please understand this policy is in place for health and safety and to avoid disrupting the class for other attendees.

  • If you’re unable to attend a class, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance.

Late cancellations will result in the loss of your class credit.

You’re allowed 3 late cancellations per month at no charge; after that, a £12 fee applies for each additional late cancellation.

If you don’t show for a class without cancelling, a £12 charge will apply.

This policy ensures everyone has a fair chance to book classes.

  • If you join the waitlist for a class, you’ll be notified by email if a space becomes available. You can then book your spot directly via the link in the email.

Waitlists are limited to 3 spots per class and operate on a first come, first served basis.

If you can no longer attend, please use the link in the email to remove yourself from the waitlist.

  • If you are pregnant, you may attend group classes up to the end of your first trimester. After this point, for your safety, private sessions will be recommended.

If you have a strong reformer practice and are comfortable modifying movements, you can speak with your instructor to discuss a plan for continuing in group classes. Each situation will be assessed individually to ensure your safety and comfort.

We’re planning to add special pre- and post-natal classes to our timetable in the future!
